SKILLED NURSING

Wound Care: Treatment of chronic wounds, surgical wounds, or pressure ulcers, including cleaning, dressing changes, and monitoring for infection.
Medication Management: Administration, monitoring, and teaching patients about their medications to ensure proper dosage and adherence. This includes injections, IV therapy, and other forms of medication administration.
Pain Management: Assessing and managing pain levels through prescribed medications or other strategies.
Chronic Disease Management: Monitoring and managing conditions like diabetes, hypertension, COPD, or heart failure, which may involve teaching self-care techniques, coordinating with doctors, and adjusting treatment plans.
Patient Education
- Nurses educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication regimens, lifestyle changes, and prevention strategies to improve patient self-care.
- Teaching proper techniques for administering medications, managing medical equipment, and recognizing signs of complications.
INFUSION NURSING

IV Therapy: Administration of fluids, medications, or antibiotics via intravenous (IV) lines.
Nutrition Support: Providing tube feedings or managing parenteral nutrition (TPN) for patients unable to take food orally.

Personal Care Assistance
- Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assistance with basic personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
